Already have the App Store version?
If you purchased Pro on the App Store, you can activate the same Pro entitlement in the direct download version — no second purchase needed.

Get your RevenueCat User ID from the App Store version
Open AppGrid (App Store version), click the ☰ hamburger menu, choose Get Customer ID, then click Copy to Clipboard. Your ID looks like $RCAnonymousID:xxxxx.

Download and open the direct version
If you haven't already, download AppGridMac and launch it.

Open the upgrade window and select "I bought from the App Store"
Click the ☰ hamburger menu in AppGridMac and choose Upgrade to Pro. In the window that appears, select I bought from the App Store.

Enter your email and RevenueCat User ID
Enter the email associated with your App Store purchase, paste your RevenueCat User ID ($RCAnonymousID:xxxxx), then click Verify & Activate. Your Pro features will unlock immediately.
Who can migrate?
Lifetime Pro purchases transfer permanently. Annual subscriptions transfer too, but will expire on your current renewal date and won't auto-renew (the direct version only offers a one-time lifetime purchase). Monthly subscriptions are not eligible for migration.

Why is this needed?
The direct download version runs outside the App Store sandbox, so it can't verify your App Store purchase directly. Your Customer ID is how we link your existing Pro purchase to the new app.
